It is not always a common thing for a person to try out something different that can bring change in his/her career. In the rare incidents that happen, the people involved usually want to receive extra credit since they do not do it out of passion on philanthropy. However one man by the name Dr. Saad Saad is sufficient proof that good people who are willing to go the extra mile to improve the lives of others without expecting nothing in return do exist. Dr. Saad Saad, a Pediatric Surgeon out of his empathy decided to invent different features thatt would help his patients in terms of relieving pain and simplifying surgical procedures. He has also helped children in and out of his community through medical missions in the United States, Jerusalem, and the West Bank by performing absolutely free surgeries.
How Dr. Saad has impacted the medicine field
Unlike most doctors, Dr. Saad does all he can to make the lives of his patients better which is why he has various life changing innovations to his name. For instance using his top shelf knowledge in medicine and his creative nature Dr. Saad came up with a catheter integrated with a location identification device that uses electromagnetic energy. Catheters left in the body for medical purposes often need tracking which means an x-ray has to be performed every time. However with Dr. Saad’s new technology that is now a thing of the past as it ensures the patient is not exposed to the harmful x-rays in the event of tracking. Instead electromagnetic energy is used to identify the catheter location. As much as this is not on the market yet, it is a great invention that once implemented will not only impact patients but also the entire medicine arena positively.
In addition, Dr. Saad Saad has invented different apparatus and procedures for irrigation and suction of fluids through the rigid endoscope. This can be done at the same time maintaining visual contact of the area under operation. With this, a scan is not needed for the surgeon to view inside the body during a procedure. The sucking and irrigating device integrated on the endoscope ensures there is no obstruction.
What life has taught Dr. Saad
They say life is a big book where lessons never end. For Dr. Saad, one of the biggest lessons he has learned is to accept nothing less than the achievement his heart craves for. This has kept him going both in his career as a pediatric surgeon and an innovator. In addition, procrastination is a vice that Saad really hates and steers away from every day. He has learned that doing what you can do today instead of tomorrow is the way to go and is the secret ingredient for success.
