The source of this water is on the Big Island of Hawaii, southwest of Hilo town. It passes through thousands and thousands of feet of the Mauna Loa volcano. It is therefore filtered during this process, enriching it with minerals such as magnesium, sodium, calcium, and magnesium. It also contains great PH levels and ideal levels of silica which make the water feel more soft and silky during consumption. Studies also reveal that consuming 10 mg of silica on a daily basis, in water, can minimize the risk of acquiring Alzheimer’s to the consumer by 11 percent.
The company is one of the very first beverage organizations to be Carbon Neutral certified. The packaging of Waiakea Water is 100 percent polyethylene terephthalate and utilizes a significant 85 percent less energy as compared to regular plastic bottles. The process of manufacturing these bottles also supports the reduction of carbon emissions by a significant 90 percent as compared to regular ones. These magnificent bottles are also free of BPA.
