Jeunesse Global is one of the leading direct marketers of health and beauty products in the world today. Founded in 2009 by serial entrepreneurs Randy Ray and Wendy Lewis, the company has grown at an exponential rate ever since. With an early focus on the East Asian markets, Jeunesse has become one of the fastest-growing companies in that region.
The idea to found the company came to Wendy Lewis when she became bored during her many hours of retirement. The couple had attempted to retire three separate times before but had always been called back to the world of business by the excitement and sense of accomplishment that comes with successfully building businesses. This attempt at retirement proved to be no different. Before long, Randy Ray had also jumped into the new business. It wasn’t long before Jeunesse Global was officially born.
The couple had such vast expertise in the area of direct marketing that it didn’t take long for the new company to begin taking off at breakneck speed. Both Ray and Lewis made the decision early on to focus on the East Asian markets in general and China in particular, a place where a highly industrious and intelligent populace had been economically oppressed for decades under the ruthless toe of coercive communism. Now, with China beginning to open up economically, both Ray and Lewis believed that the business opportunities that would soon present themselves in that vast region of the world would exceed anything that they had ever before encountered in their careers.
They turned out to be even righter than they knew. Within five short years, Jeunesse Global was doing tens of millions of dollars in sales each year. The explosive growth of the company was almost exclusively driven by the thousands of new distributors that the company had enrolled in the East Asia markets. These distributors were hardworking, smart and exceptionally good with executing the Jeunesse business plan.
As a result, today, the company ranks among the fastest-growing companies in the world. It is set to do more than $1 billion in sales this year, a remarkable milestone for a company just nine years old.
