Elysium Health Puts Forth a New Supplement

Information About Elysium Health

Elysium Health is a company that translates advances in science and technology in order to help people live healthier, longer. Elysium Health works directly with some of the world-leading scientists in the world. The company was founded by Dr. Leonard Guarente, the director of the Glenn Laboratory for Science of Aging at MIT, in 2014.

Elysium’s First Product

Basis is the first product made by Elysium Health. It is based on more than 25 years of aging research. Basis is a supplement that increases levels of NAD+, an important coenzyme in our cells. NAD+ is essential to many of our cellular functions like energy creation and DNA protection as well as others. As we get older, our levels of NAD+ go down and the functions that it supports begin to weaken. That is why Basis works to maintain higher levels of NAD+ in our cells.

Elysium is also researching new products that focus on cognitive health, skin health, and muscle function. These products are in various stages of pre-clinical and clinical trials.

More On Elysium Health and Its Supplement

In order to ensure that Basis works, Elysium Health has put the supplement through clinical trials. It divided its participants into three groups. Group one received a placebo, group two received the recommended daily dose of Basis (two capsules), and group three received a double dose of Basis (four capsules). The clinical trial proved that Basis is able to increase levels of NAD+ by 40 percent in the participants that took the recommended dose of the supplement.

Elysium Health sells Basis through on its website, offering a variety of subscriptions to the supplement. The most popular subscription to Basis is the six-month one because it allows people to test the supplement out over an extended period of time. A single bottle jar costs $60 and contains a 30-day supply of the product.
